I like typing book quotes on a mechanical keyboard because it is the only way I really pay attention to what I read. The Typist turns that into a game: you type the book as a broke writer-for-hire in the 1930s.

This blog covers two things:

Devlog: how the game is made, its art, its era research and what shipped.

Engine: the open-source Kotlin Multiplatform scene engine extracted from the game: cameras, perspective, light and shadows for Compose Multiplatform.

Follow along with the RSS feed, or just the Devlog or Engine feeds.
